Something is Wrong With My Dog Pulled Out Ending

Contact Klim through Bob's tower radio, reach the old spawn, light all four beacon towers, and escape through the light for Pulled Out.

The Pulled Out ending is the player escape through the light. The official badge confirms that result. The current walkthrough route prepares redrock material and flint and steel, uses the radio in Bob’s tower to contact Klim, follows the red X toward the portal and old spawn, lights coal at the top of four beacon towers, and enters the opened light.

Confidence: “You got out through the light” is Official. Quantities, crafting, Klim, old-spawn routing, and four-beacon steps are Community reported from the current build.

Gather the route materials early

The walkthrough advises preparing by day five or earlier. Its objective uses 12 redrock dust at the radio in Bob’s tower and says redrock ore is deep down and needs an iron pickaxe. The route also needs flint and steel; the video explains flint from gravel and iron from mining before crafting the item.

Collecting these materials after the branch becomes urgent wastes the most valuable resource: daylight. Keep the iron pickaxe, redrock dust, and flint and steel in stable hotbar positions. Do not spend the flint and steel on unrelated testing before the beacon sequence.

Use the current objective’s spelling and quantity. Video narration may call the material redstone, but the captured in-game panel used redrock dust. A later patch can change either name, so the live objective controls your server.

Contact Klim at Bob’s tower

Find Bob’s tower while the radio objective is active. Select the required redrock material and use Right Click on the radio, matching the published Place / Use control. Confirm the objective changes before leaving.

In the checked route, the successful contact identifies Klim as the person helping the player escape and directs the run toward a red X on Bob’s map. The marker leads into the portal sequence. Do not assume a red mark seen before the radio is already active for this ending.

If the radio does nothing, check the active item, quantity, Story state, and target. Another player may have advanced the shared objective, so reread the panel and map rather than submitting the material repeatedly.

Reach the light at the old spawn

After contact, follow the red X and the updated objective toward the portal area. The walkthrough then displays “Get to the light at the old spawn.” Use the map and current landmark state; a fixed coordinate is less trustworthy than the objective after a world update.

Carry food and leave inventory space, but avoid detours. The route is a sequence, and reaching the old spawn is not yet the ending. When the beacon objective appears, stop and identify all four tower positions before lighting the first one.

In a group, assign towers only if everyone understands the same objective. A split can save time, but it can also make it unclear which beacon failed. Count visible activations and regroup at the arch before anyone enters.

Light all four beacons

The demonstrated objective says to light the beacons again by using flint and steel on the coal at the top of each tower, showing progress such as 1/4 and 2/4. Climb each tower, select flint and steel, aim at the coal, and use it. Watch for the progress counter before moving on.

Do not count flames by sight alone. A nearby fire can look correct without registering the target block. The objective counter is the best evidence. If it remains unchanged, aim again at the coal rather than another block on the tower.

After all four register, Klim’s message and the open arch indicate the final route. Keep Pulled Out distinct from Sent Back: for Pulled Out, the player goes through the light. Sent Back uses the opened route to send Jerry through.

Enter the light and confirm the ending

Approach the opened arch only after 4/4 or the equivalent completion state. Keep Jerry’s position from changing your plan, and make sure the player pursuing Pulled Out crosses the active light. Wait for the ending transition and badge before leaving.

If the arch looks open but no ending triggers, recheck whether all four beacons registered for the current objective. In multiplayer, one player can be at the portal while another tower remains incomplete. Reopen the objective rather than walking in and out repeatedly.

Pulled Out route checklist

  1. Join Story and progress to the escape branch by day five or the equivalent current state.
  2. Mine the live-required redrock material with an iron pickaxe; the checked route shows 12 redrock dust.
  3. Obtain flint and iron, then craft and preserve flint and steel.
  4. Use the redrock dust on the radio in Bob’s tower and confirm Klim contact.
  5. Follow the red X on the map toward the portal and reach the old spawn.
  6. Find the four beacon towers and use flint and steel on the coal at the top of each.
  7. Confirm all four count toward the objective and the arch opens.
  8. Take the player through the light and wait for the Pulled Out badge.

Mistakes that send the route off course

Using the wrong red material, arriving without an iron pickaxe, or failing to confirm the radio interaction can block the first transition. At the towers, igniting a decorative block instead of the target coal can create visible fire without progress. At the end, luring Jerry through the arch pursues Sent Back rather than the player’s Pulled Out escape.

Do not treat a death near the light as success. The official wording is about getting out through it. Preserve health and food for the last approach, especially if darkness or enemies are active around the old spawn.

What can change after an update

The official outcome and badge remain strong anchors. The radio quantity, ore depth, crafting route, red-X marker, old-spawn terrain, tower positions, and whether progress is shared across a party are not published first-party details. Recheck them against the live objective after UPDATE 3’s announced world and story changes.

If a material or landmark changes, follow the meaning of the sequence: activate the escape contact, reach the marked old-spawn area, complete every beacon, and send the player through the resulting light. Do not force obsolete names into a newer build.

Quick answers

How many beacons are in the current Pulled Out route?

The checked walkthrough shows four and displays a four-step counter. Treat that count as Community reported and confirm it in the live objective.

What do I use on the beacons?

The current route uses flint and steel on coal at the top of each tower. Confirm the objective counter changes after each use.

What is the difference between Pulled Out and Sent Back?

Pulled Out sends the player through the light. Sent Back uses the opened arch to send Jerry through, matching the official result about Bob’s dog resting.
