Something is Wrong With My Dog Survival Badges

Plan the official one-night, three-night, and sleep badge goals while keeping night length, group credit, and Creative effects as live-test fields.

Three official badges provide clear night goals: Still Breathing for a whole night in Survival, Night Shift for three nights in one Survival game, and Sweet Dreams for sleeping through a whole night in your own bed. The descriptions define the finish line without publishing timers, enemy schedules, or party-credit rules.

Still Breathing: one complete Survival night

Still Breathing says you spend a whole night in Survival with Jerry out there and remain until morning. Join Survival before night begins, prepare a functional camp, and keep the badge-seeking account alive and connected through the morning transition.

The text does not state a minute count, allowed deaths for other players, or whether joining mid-night qualifies. Treat presence for the entire cycle as the safest interpretation, then record deviations if you test them.

Wait for the award after morning. A visible sunrise may occur before the objective and badge service settle. If the badge fails, preserve mode, join time, death state, Creative state, and disconnect history for the next attempt.

Night Shift: three nights in one game

Night Shift explicitly requires three nights in one game of Survival while Jerry is hunting. Separate one-night sessions should not be added together. Maintain the same game, repair during daylight, and avoid switching modes between cycles.

Use the first night to expose a weakness, the second to test the repair, and the third to preserve the stable plan. Do not expand the camp so much during the day that it becomes less defensible at night.

The badge does not publish whether one player can die and return, whether the whole group must survive, or whether a private server changes eligibility. The cleanest attempt keeps the badge owner alive and present for all three full cycles.

Sweet Dreams: your bed for a whole night

Sweet Dreams says to sleep through a whole night in your own bed. Build or claim the bed before dark, interact while the night is still beginning, and avoid leaving it until morning. A bed used by another player may not satisfy the ownership language.

The badge description does not name Story or Survival. It belongs in this page because it is a full-night objective, but do not claim it is Survival-only. Test it in the mode you are playing and record the result.

If the award fails, check whether the bed was recognized as yours, whether the player entered after night started, woke early, died, or changed server. Do not infer a hidden duration from one failed attempt.

Build a badge attempt that can be diagnosed

Start with a clear mode and one target. Keep the account in the server from before dark through the morning transition. Avoid toggling Creative unless Creative eligibility is the fact you are testing.

In multiplayer, assign the badge owner a bed and role. Other players can gather or defend, but they should not take over the bed or carry the owner far from camp at the transition. Record which accounts received the award.

After each night, check the Roblox badge list rather than relying only on an on-screen notification. Network delay can hide a toast even when the award is stored.

Jerry and Creative Mode

Still Breathing and Night Shift both name Jerry as part of the Survival threat. The Creative Mode pass says Jerry leaves the Creative owner alone in Survival, and it also prevents hurt and hunger. That changes the conditions dramatically.

The public badge descriptions do not say whether Creative owners remain eligible. A Creative run can test that question, but it should not be silently presented as the standard strategy. For a conservative first attempt, leave Creative off.

Ray’s Kit is less disruptive: it supplies iron tools, bread, and torches on each Survival spawn. Its use changes preparation but does not claim immunity. No official source says the kit is required.

Avoid false precision

Roblox rarity, awarded counts, and win-rate percentages change continuously. They are not night duration, enemy probability, or badge drop rate. Do not use them to rank Still Breathing as objectively easy or Night Shift as a fixed percentage challenge.

Likewise, the official description’s “whole night” is the correct unit. Until the live UI or developer publishes a stable timer, give players phase-based advice—prepare before dark, remain through night, and wait for morning—rather than a fabricated number of minutes.

Quick answers

Which badge is for one Survival night?

Still Breathing. The badge owner should be present for the whole night and reach morning.

Which badge is for three nights?

Night Shift requires three nights in one Survival game while Jerry is hunting.

Is Sweet Dreams Survival-only?

The official description does not say so. It requires sleeping through a whole night in your own bed; verify the mode in your own attempt.

Does Creative still award the badges?

That boundary is not published. Creative removes hurt, hunger, and Jerry’s threat for the owner, so test it separately rather than assuming parity.
